Package services and prices are a good place to start. But your project may require changes to the package which may change the price.
Basic 2 hour Shoot + Editing
$500
2 hours of on location video (no live audio)
Edited into a 2 minute max presentation
Add $100
For two 15 second social media aspect ratio versions

If music is needed, add the cost of purchased royalty free music. Most music libraries offer high quality music for a very low price. Usually under $20 per music cue.
+ $200.
Add Live Sound: If it is determined that no extra personnel is necessary, Extra personnel may cost more. I cannot determine that cost until personnel is secured for the shoot. This is for basic dialogue and ambient sound. These prices do not reflect multitrack music recording and mixing.
Travel: My travel more than 40 minutes each way requires a fee consideration.

Up to 5 hour shoot. Edit of up to 2 minute presentation

Important considerations
Important note about music - It is illegal for a video producer to use music without the purchase of the rights or the written consent of the artist or co-owners of the copyright. A video producer cannot insert copyrighted music into a video project created for a fee unless the client has proof that it has been paid for through the normal channels.
Please contact me for a quote. There are projects that don’t fit neatly into a package price. Certain “non-commercial” creative projects or projects that have certain artistic aspects or considered partnerships, may be considered differently.
These fees are introductory. Before any shoot, we will discuss the needs of the project and have a definite fee agreed upon and locked in. The fees stated above are for a shoot and a “basic” editing package. If the final videos are expected to include special effects or needs that require special attention, planning, detail and time, then we will discuss the details beforehand and agree on a fee.
My goal is to provide a product we can both be proud of for a fair price. More sophisticated creative concepts require a lot of planning, equipment and post production hours and there is no way around it. A great video often requires a lot of equipment, care, set up time and more hours behind the scenes than the client will see.
Original Music - Of course, I can also compose and produce original music for your video project. However, music production is a separate kind of production with its own costs. An original song or score is an advanced feature of a project that has a higher budget, an advertisement that requires a jingle or theme song or a purely creative endeavor. The cost of producing proprietary music does not compare with the cost of library music that is widely available for a low fee. Royalty free music for sale through various libraries is inexpensive for multiple reasons. 1. The use of the music is non-exclusive - The composer was paid upfront by the library which in turn rents or sells usage to multiple buyers to recoup the cost. 2. The music may be AI generated.
